Terri,
Hey Terri! How are you doing? I'm doing great. I don't know if you remember me or not, but you sold me one of your Giant Maso pups to my wife and I back in Februrary of this year (2007). We named her Kahlua. We love her so much. She's our baby. And she always will be. We are currently pregnant now, we are expecting May 1st. We're excited though because Kahlua loves kids. We've brought her around a lot of kids and she gets really excited around kids. She does do the occassional knocking them over though because she's getting so big. But it's so innocent. We get so many comments and compliments about her being such a beautiful and well behaved dog. And they're not exaggerating either. She is a very well behaved dog. We take her everywhere and she's totally part of the family. In fact if we don't bring her everybody asks where she is at. lol. We actually was at the local starbucks and a couple came up to us and ask about her and we told them all about you and your kennel. They have been talking to you. Their names are Kristen and Shawn from California. You have been asking me for a picture of Kahlua and I'm finally going to send you one. In fact this will prove to you how much this dog is spoiled. lol. The picture is of Kahlua at about 10 months, and she's weighing in at about 110lbs. And she's very tall. Thanks so much once again Terri. If I ever get another which I want to someday I will give you another call definitely. Thanks again and happy holidays to you and your family, including your dogs.
Thanks again,
Casey and Anna
Dear Thunderheart Farm,
It has been about 6 months since we first met our beautiful girl and the time flown by...
Beatrix Kiddo has grown exponentially! She was the best little baby, she was sweet and cuddly and (most importantly) potty trained the day we took her home. She is a total mommy's and daddy's girl and is miserable when she isn't with us (and don't let me fool you, it works both ways ha ha).
Over the past few months we have seen Bea's personality just blossom. She is doing VERY well in traning and really shows up her classmates. She not a barker, which is wonderful. She walks very well and gets so excited when we put the leash on her. She is incredible in the car, she is a perfect angel- no barking or crazy behavior, she is pure zen calm even after a LONG road trip to Michigan. She is very protective of mommy and daddy and makes sure her pack is safe. Her favorite thing is to jump on our laps when we are watching TV and snuggle up with us. When she's not doing that she is trying to sneak onto our bed and barks for us until we come and lay with her. She is too funny... She makes the funniest faces and noises and just seems to communicate her thoughts and feelings so clearly. I know, I know.. she's "just" a dog. But, she really is our "baby," a real member of the family and we love her to pieces!!!! Thank you so SO much for breeding such a perfect, loving dog. You guys really are the best and we make sure to tell EVERYONE what a wonderful farm you have.
We will most definitely get another mastiff, probably as soon as in 6 months! We have been so pleased with this dog, we can't wait to have another little guy to join the family (we even have his name picked out ha ha).
Thanks, again,
Mike and Tiffany Havlik

Hey

Goliath below

Hi Terri,
Goliath is alittle over five
months and at 75lbs. already and everyone at work, home, and anywhere we
take him loves him. They tell us how beautiful he is and well behaved
and good natured and they are amazed for him being so young. He is
really smart, we show him something once and he remembers. He is going
to be such a wonderful service dog. Maine is learning alot about this
breed now and everyone that loves the big dog breeds are so interested
in him. I did have one woman chase me down at work last week to meet
Goliath and ask me lots of questions about the breed because her husband
has been researching them and trying to fine a reputable breeder here in
Maine and I told her there were none in Maine and if she wants a healthy
dog to contact you and I gave here your website. I don't know if she
followed through but your really popular here in Maine now. Goliath is
also microchipped and registered where he is so popular and rare here in
Maine. How is his brother Moose, he must be getting so big as well.
Take care
Laure
UPDATE ON GOLIAH:
Hi Terri,
Goliath is 7months and 95.6 lbs. Now he seems to grow over night, its
so amazing. I wanted to let you know that I have told many people about
you and the quality dogs from there, especially since Goliath was such a
big hit at the Hospice house (for terminal cancer patients) in
Scarborough Maine. They loved him and he was such a comfort to everyone
there when my father in was passing away. Everyone was amazed that such
a large dog can be so gentle and soothing to everyone, he just seemed to
know just the right thing to do. Thanks so much for allowing us to have
Goliath. He is so wonderful.

Another update on Goliah
Hi Terri,
Sorry if you received the first email with unfinished note. Goliath is one year old now and 150lbs. and 31" tall so far. He is in perfect health and brings joy to everyone he meets up with as well as our family. He is an enormous asset to me for my health issues but he also seems to spread his gift of calming and feeling loved to everyone he comes in contact with. The College of Nursing and Health Professions at the University of Southern Maine loves him whole heartedly, the faculty, staff and students that all get to see him on a daily basis. Everyone looks for him and loves him to pieces. He is an extremely smart service dog and seems to pick up on my health needs before I can even give him a command, its great. He is so well behaved, good natured and great security in more than one way. Goliath is such a blessing and I don't know what I would ever do without him. Thanks so much for the quality and needs of others you take in to consideration when you breed. The old english mastiff is such a wonderful breed with all your loving care you put into it as well. Maine just loves Goliath and are learning a lot about the breed too.
Oh yeah, how is his brother Moose? Could you send a recent picture of him for the update in our book we keep on Goliath?
Thanks so much.

Hi Terri,
I just wanted to send a few pictures of LeRoy so you could see how well he's doing. I'm sure you can tell by the look on his face, he absolutely LOVES his Elmo costume! hahaha. He's 10 months old now and 105 lbs. We get nothing but compliments on him everywhere he goes with us! There's a picture of him on my lap, this was the 4th of July and he was scared of the fireworks. Nothing like a 100 lb lap dog! hahaha

Thanks, ~KayDee
Hi Terri,
Just thought I'd give you an update on our puppy. We have named her Harley and she is the best puppy we have ever had. She absolutely loves people and follows my kids around everywhere they go. I think she is absolutely wonderful and she has stolen our hearts already. She is about 20 pounds now and just so full of love. We are working on the potty training but she is already sleeping through the night!!!! My kids can't wait for her to get big enough to sleep with them. I have attached a few photos so you can see her. I can't thank you enough for providing us with such a pleasure of a puppy. She is truly a blessing to our family!!! Keep up the good work!!!

Here is how Katie brightened some lives with her wonderful Maso, Odin
Hey Terri,
I can't tell you enough how great of a dog Odin is turning into. Recently, Virginia students have been shocked by the Virginia Tech shootings. I took Odin to campus just so everyone could have some comic relief (he is a goof ball), and he brought smiles to hundreds of faces as he wandered around, greeting everyone in sight with sloppy maso kisses. He accompanied me to the University of Mary Washington Chain of Love and official tolling of the bells ceremony this past Friday. Dressed in a maroon shirt, Odin stood out more than usual, and a professional photographer documenting our ceremony snapped this picture of him, standing guard through the rows of people. I thought you'd enjoy this, as well as knowing that Odin is working hard (not really, he's just his goofy, overly friendly self!) to brighten the days of the students on campus, many of whom are far away from their own pets in this time of mourning. Thanks so much and I'll talk to you soon!
Keep up the good work!

This is Oden below ....

Hi, Terri -
John and I purchased a brindle Maso from you late last year.
He is doing great and is already a little over 140lbs (at 9 months) -- the vet projects 185-200lbs. Wow! I'm including a picture below:
You get the credit for making him "gorgeous" -- it was great genes...all we did is pick the right breeder :)
We get so many compliments on his looks. And it is especially fun to walk both Bob (the 3 year old Fawn English Mastiff who is 165lbs) and Gus -- you should see the stares I get! Thank you for such a great dog! I was initially worried about finding a "personality" match for our sweet 3 year old mastiff -- boy I tell you does Gus ever have a personality! The funny thing is that he is bringing out a more assertive/curious personality in Bob. If a door was partially shut, Bob would just moan until we came and opened it enough. That was before Gus. Gus has shown Bob how to open doors, so they tag team to get around the house, ha ha. You can absolutely put him up on the Web site. I'm honored! I am also including a couple other pictures in case you would prefer/want to use any of them: Thanks for letting me brag and thanks again for the advice. Lisa

Hello-
Here is the latest pic of our handsome, wonderful dog, Clifford.
He's so cute that you should include him on your website!

Hi Terri ! how are things have been really busy, we might be close enough
for you to come visit mollie soon, we are getting ready to look at a house
on hopeful churchroad in louisa, keep your fingers crossed for us, if so the
first thing i will do is get another maso puppy. Mollie is beautiful,
loveable, by far the best dog i have ever owned not that i don't love the
rest but she listens, well behaved and is the biggest baby we just adore
her, she is 30" from the ground to her back very tall and now she is
starting to fill out width wise and is still very much a lap dog, I can't
thank you enough for giving her to us. Hope to hear from you soon.Beth
Ready for Christmas!
Terri,
Here are some updated pics of what is probably the greatest puppy ever. I can't thank you enough for sending me and my kids one of the kindest, easy going and most lovable puppies I have ever known. I never imagined that a dog of this age could have such a incredible disposition and give each person who enters my home much more love than I think we can ever give him. I can go on forever about how great he is so I will keep it short, just know I feel indebted to you and when the time comes I may be calling you to send another.
Thanks again.
Joe Arlauckas
